Lenique Louis Speaks At The Women Supporting Women Event At Google
Women making a difference in their industries at Google 'Women to Women event. Our founder Lenique Louis was one of the chosen businesses to represent women making waves in their chosen industries.
She had the pleasure of sharing the stage with two amazing successful women, Ruth Gibson and Leanne Lashley, also making waves in the film and social enterprise industry helped by The Princes Trust.
In attendance was 250 successful women from all over Britain that came together to hear how The Prince's Trust has helped women turn their life around. Our Founder Lenique was one of those success stories that was helped by The Prince's Trust and now wants to give back by helping young people overcome their issues and help them to change their life with her Academy.
Kate Adie, Sarah Winckless and Kelly Hoppen were just a few of the celebrities who inspired women at ‘An Afternoon of Inspiration’. Inspiring and courageous celebrities attended the launch of Women Supporting Women, an initiative which brings together passionate and successful women who care about helping the most disadvantaged young women in our society.
Right now in the UK, 272,000 young women are unemployed and around 70,000 girls are excluded from school each year. Last year The Princes Trust supported around 20,000 young women to find work, education or training. And, thanks to their new initiative, Women Supporting Women, they aim to help even more.
