Prince's Trust Celebrate Success Awards 2017

The Prince's Trust, TK Maxx & HomeSense Celebrate Success Awards 2017 is an opportunity to shine the spotlight on some of The Prince's Trust's amazing young people. So that their stories can inspire and motivate others.

The award ceremony was hosted by Ant and Dec, and we were joined by many Celebrity Ambassadors.

The Prince's Trust has done so much for many people I come into contact with and it was a pleasure to be at the iconic London Palladium with a full house of supporters of The  Prince's Trust.

 


I was blown away by the triumphs and leaps that many of the finalists went through. My fingers were crossed for my good friend Michelle Brown who was up for Young Achiever of the Year. I first met Michelle at the House of Lords dinner when she spoke about her journey through The Princes Trust.

Before her talk she mentioned that she was nervous but you never saw that, she spoke with so much confidence and came across so well. I was so proud of how well she came across. Michelle has come so far so I had my fingers crossed that she would win Young Achiever of the year.

So it was time and her category was up, they called her name I was so happy for her. You see it's not just the award that is the highlight of the night but what happens next. Michelle knows that she has people that believe in her and I'm so excited to see what the next couple of years has in store for this amazing women!

Michelle Brown was a worthy winner, thanking The Prince's Trust for believing in her and pushing her when no one else did.
